HSC: Area of Study

The Area of Study for  HSC 2007 - 2008 is Journeys.

The Texts

Make sure you have a good understanding of your focus area by finding out the meaning of "journey" and "physical", "inner" and "imaginative" in relation to the journey.

  • What is the impact of adding 'physical' to the meaning of the concept of the journey? Is a physical journey only physical? Can it also include the 'inner' and the 'imaginative'?

  • What is the impact of adding 'inner' to the meaning of the concept of the journey? Can it in some way include the 'physical' and/or the 'imaginative'?

  • What is the impact of adding 'imaginative' to the meaning of the concept of the journey? Can it in some way include the 'physical' and/or the 'inner'?
