Close study of your Area of Study texts
The skills you learn in your
Area of Study are skills you will also use
in each of your Modules.
In the
close study of each text you
will be deconstructing each text for its:
-
Structures of texts
-
Language forms and features
-
Meaning created by
the composer and how it has been made (or shaped) by choices about
structures and language forms and features.
Through this close study you will
develop an understanding of your own response to each text because of
your work and you will be better able to make the connections between the
texts studied in relation to the composers meaning and how meaning has been
made.
